Review: Elaquent – Persona
Elaquent, yet another talented young man from Canada – we’re finding quite a few of them on lesson6 – is someone that I’m going to be keeping an eye on. His love of retro video games and nerd culture is reason enough for me, but when you add his ability to create some smooth, laid-back instrumental beats, then I know I’m onto a winner.
Two for the price of one here. Willie Green gets his movie sampling on in two tracks for his recently released album Dirty Jordans.

Review: Inspired Flight’s We All Want To Fly
I’ve been debating whether it really is worth throwing up some thoughts on this album. Despite guestspots by Inspectah Deck, Rugged Monk and Scarub and Eligh of Living Legends, We All Want To Fly isn’t all hip-hop. Hilarious new video from Jeff Spec. His new album came out a few weeks ago and can be bought on BandCamp, we should have something on it soon.
This guy likes weed. Only thing I really took away from this video and seeing as we haven’t labelled that as a cliché here is the video for “Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza” by Mac Miller.
New video from Kid Epsi’s third album due out next month.
Here’s a pretty crazy video for “The Fire” by The Roots. I guess they’ve got more budget than most of what we feature on this blog.
